Ronald B. Tabor
(October 6, 1940 - March 29, 2017)

Ronald B. Tabor, 76, of Evansville passed away at 9:30 pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Pine haven Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ron was born October 6, 1940 in Mexico, Kentucky the son of the late Roy and Marie (Crouch) Tabor. He was a 1958 graduate of Central High School and studied at Lockyear Business College. Ron proudly served his country in the US Air Force for 6 years then the US Army for 18 years. Ron also served in the National Guard. He was a member of VFW Post #1114, American Legion Post #200 and a member of Crossroads Christian Church. He retired from the Evansville Fire Department in 1996 after 30 years of service.

He is survived by sons, Terry Tabor (Melody) and Scott Tabor, both of Evansville and Mark Tabor of Boonville, IN; sister, Paulette Parson of Evansville; grandchildren, Stephanie, Craig, Jennifer and Allie and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 60 years, Carolyn Sue Tabor in January 2017.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Ashbridge Cemetery in Mexico, Kentucky.

Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville will be handling the arrangements.
