Emma Christine Lewis was born June 19, 1919 in Paris, AR a daughter to Ethel Miles Friar and Homer Friar. Ms. Lewis passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 97.
Chris as she was known by everyone loved sewing, baking and cooking for her family and friends. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Ms. Lewis is preceded in death by her parents: husband: Preston “Doc” Lewis; infant son; granddaughter: Holly Gill; three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by daughter: Carol Gill and husband Richard of Santa Margarita, CA; two sisters: Rosemary Lowrance of Cleveland; Betty Trowbridge of Morrilton; Grandson: Richard Gill; Great Granddaughter: Haylee Gill both of California; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews along with life- long friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00PM til 8:00PM, Monday, April 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gib Cole officiating. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
