Virginia 'Jinx' Wylie Albert, 80, of Williamsburg, Va., died Dec. 6, 2006. Born Sept. 21, 1926, in Springfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of David W. Wylie and Thelma Snider Navarette. She married Roy M. Albert Jr. in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1997. Together they resided in Gainesville, Texas, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Columbia, S.C. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Albert Ross. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Albert and her husband, Richard Reeves, of Williamsburg, Va.; her son, David Albert of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Paul Webb and wife, Michele, Gregory Warren and wife, Emily, J.J. Neri and wife, Amy, Samantha Albert and Michael Albert; and four great-grandchildren, P.J. Webb, Kyle Webb, Sydney Neri and Jack Neri. A service in celebration of her life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, Williamsburg, Va. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery in March 2007. Arrangements by Bucktrout of Williamsburg.
