Joan Lidestri, 57, of Washingtonville, NY, passed away Monday, March 27th, 2017 at Clara Maass Medical Center, in Bloomfield, NJ surrounded by her loving family.
Joan was born in Englewood, NJ on March 7th, 1960. She was raised in Bergenfield, NJ before moving to Orange County, NY.
Joan had been employed by Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ as a Medical Records Coder for 26 years.
Our mother especially enjoyed spending time with her family and three dogs. She was married to the love of her life and best friend. She loved shopping and going out to lunch with her four children, volunteering for animal rescue, collecting antiques, reading and writing.
Joan is survived by her husband, Michael, of 30 years, her four children, Katherine, James, Julianne, and Elizabeth of Washingtonville, her sister, Pamela D'Ambrosio, of Gloucester, MA, and her three beloved pups Molly, Dylan, and Piper that brought her so much joy.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 31, from 4-8 PM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 1st, 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, NY, Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery 2 Fr. Tierney Circle, Washingtonville.
