She was born on May 1, 1929 in Wilson County, Texas to Owen S. and Addie Stadler Ables.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Edward Ables; and sister, Helen Ables Thompson.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017, at Finch Funeral Chapel, 400 S. Fourth Street, Stockdale, TX 78160.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., also at Finch Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at Stockdale Cemetery.
