Mrs. Richards, daughter of the late Floyd Wilbur and Minnie Mae Blanchard Miles, was a native of Appling, GA, a homemaker, and a Methodist by faith. She was a charter member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church, and also attended Mize United Methodist Church and Liberty United Methodist Church, where she was an active member for many years. She was a member of Bayvale Homemakers, the Sunrisers, and the Hope Circle.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Wilbur Miles, Jr, Bernard F. Miles, Sumter Masters, Helen Douglas, and R. Jack Miles.
She is survived by her children, Jackie Newman (Michael), Brent Richards (Paulette), Brian Richards, Robert Richards (Jeannie), and Margaret Anne Richards (Jerry Mansfield); her grandchildren, David Newman, DeAnne Warren (Shane), Daniel Newman, Rob Richards, and Jennifer Sterling (Ronnie); several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
