Born January 26, 1939 in Tifton, Mr. Fletcher was the son of the late William Allie Fletcher and Clifford Aimeson Fletcher. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Estelle Sumner Fletcher; three brothers; and several sisters. He was a veteran of the United States Army and also served in the Georgia National Guard.
Mr. Fletcher is survived by six sons and three daughters-in-law, Ralph and Angie Fletcher, Howard Jr. “Buddy” and Lynn Fletcher and Joseph Cecil Hall, all of Tifton, David Fletcher of California, Alan and Greta Fletcher of Florida and Dale Phillips; one daughter, Cynthia Curp of Tifton; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ed White of Tifton; a sister-in-law, Virginia Fletcher of Tifton; nine grandchildren, Jason Hall, Ashli Fletcher Youngblood, Krysti Fletcher Mullis, Brian Curp, Kim Perry, Beth Curp, Joey Sellars, Rachel Saucier Jackson and Sarah Saucier; and 15 great-grandchildren. Bowen Donaldson Home For Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
