Lloyd G. Mahloch, 84, of Kiel died Tuesday afternoon March 28, 2017 at Field of Dreams Assisted Living, where he had been a resident for the past year. He was born on July 24, 1932 in Manitowoc, son of the late Gilbert and Pauline (Khail) Mahloch. He was a graduate of Valders High School. Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country in Korea. He was very proud to take the Honor Flight to Washington DC this past May with his niece, Raeline Springstroh. In his early days, Lloyd drove milk truck for Pine River Dairy. On May 28, 1955 he was united in marriage to Doris Prange at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel. Lloyd and Doris raised their family and farmed in the Town of Schleswig. Doris preceded him in death on September 27, 2014. While working the farm Lloyd also drove a milk truck for Lake to Lake Dairy and was a school bus driver for Daun Transportation for 44 years. After retiring from farming he worked for Land O' Lakes and continued to drive bus. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel, a former member of the Louis Corners Sno- Birds and enjoyed camping with the snowmobile Club. Lloyd loved driving his horses and taking part in riding club events.

Survivors include his children; Rosalee (Mark) Konen of Virginia, Kevin (Tammy) Mahloch of Manitowoc, Nancy (David) Laux of Valders, Paula (Glen) Fox of Kiel, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother; Gary (Audrey) Mahloch, sisters-in-law; Janet (Ed) Schneeweis and Donna (Don) Casper, along with numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Doris, a son; Keith Mahloch, brother; Allen (Luella) Mahloch, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Lester & Lydia (Lilge) Prange and a brother-in-law; Billy Prange.

Funeral services for Lloyd will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church (387 Cemetery Rd., Kiel) with Rev. David Laabs officiating. Burial will take place in the Rockville Cemetery, Town of Schleswig. Family and friends may call at the Church on Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.

Lloyd's family would like to thank Jim Becker, Charlie Grunewald, Allen Buchholz, Don Johnson and Ralph Brill for their companionship and all their help. They would also like to extend their thanks to Rev. David Laabs for his visits and prayers and Field of Dreams staff and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care he received.
