Reba Celeste (Henry) Sigler, 91, of Mifflintown, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at Brookline Manor.
Born July 29, 1926, in Mifflintown, she was a daughter of the late Dale H. and Charlotte (Groninger) Henry. Her husband, Ralph D. "Mike" Sigler, Sr., whom she married Aug. 11, 1948, at Centre Lutheran Church, died March 11, 1996.
She is survived by one son, Rev. Mike Sigler and wife, Karen, of Mifflintown; three grandsons, Michael Sigler and wife, LouAnne, Christopher Sigler and wife, Amy, and Jonathan Sigler; three great grandchildren, Colin, Katie and Timothy Sigler, and one sister, Ruth H. Mummah and husband, Ken, of Mifflintown.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl Henry, Dale "Bud" Henry, Robert "Bob" Henry, and Joe Henry, and one sister, Jane H. Fowler.
Reba graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1944. Her early jobs included being a telephone operator in Mifflintown and working in the railroad ticket office in Harrisburg. She worked for the Juniata County ASCS office for more than 40 years, retiring as executive director.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflin Chapter No. 260 Order of the Eastern Star, and Milford Grange.
She enjoyed playing pinochle and Bingo, traveling, attending auctions and sales, quilting, and was an avid Penn State Football and Philadelphia Phillies fan.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 12, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown with Rev. Chris Mathiason officiating. Interment will be in the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
There will be a viewing Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
