Bobby Gene Norwood, age 73, of Dandridge, passed away, Monday, March 27, 2017. He was a member of Blowing Cave Church in Sevierville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Edward Norwood and Dussie Woody Norwood; son, Daniel Norwood; brothers, Louis Edward Norwood, Jr, Harold Lee Norwood, John A. Norwood and Larry Norwood; sisters, Hessie Messer, Louise Henry, and Joann Norwood; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edith and Odell Ivey; sister-in-law, Lee Ettie Ivey; brothers-in-law, Howard Ivey, Robert Gene Ivey and Roger Lee Ivey.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Norwood of Dandridge; daughter, Tonia Norwood of Dandridge; foster daughter Wanda Cogdill, granddaughter Jackalyn Norwood of White Pine; daughter-in-law, Samantha Shelton of White Pine; brothers, Clyde (Doris) Norwood, of Sevierville, Clayton (Claudia) Norwood of Newport; sisters, Bonnie Turner of Newport, Clara Mae (Fain) Mottern of Sevierville; also numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Rev. David Hodges and Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. Burial will be held 2:00 pm Friday, March 31, 2017 in Burchfield Memorial Cemetery.
