He was born on July 24, 1932 in Kite, Georgia, the son of John Morgan and Lizzie (Meeks) Johnson.
He attended Warner Robins High School.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and after retirement worked as a contractor for Ball Aerospace.
He was preceded him in death by his wife, Mary Etta (Greene) Johnson; and his parents.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Kenneth Wayne Johnson (Amy) of Perry, and Patricia Ann Wooldridge (Bruce) of Michigan; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012 at McCullough Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
