Brenda Ann Carpenter, age 58, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence.

Brenda was born October 22, 1958 to Kenneth and Margaret (Bont) Byers Sr. in Muskegon. On October 25, 1996, she married William E. Carpenter. Brenda was employed as a cook at Steak ‘n Egger and Getty Street Grill for 30 years.

Along with William, her husband of 20 years, Brenda will be greatly missed by her sons, John Franklin McBride III and Matthew Jacob Carpenter; her mother and father, Wilfred and Margaret Rose; brothers, Kenneth (Julie) Byers Jr. and Kuay (Kelly) Davis, all of Muskegon; sister, Kimberly (Timothy) Donahue of Haverhill, MA; and many nieces and nephews.

Private family service will be held. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
