OBITUARY: DALE L. ROBERTSON
Dale L. Robertson, 62, of Burbank, WA went to be with our Lord on March 5, 2017. He was born to Arland S. and Betty J. Robertson on a snowy February 25, 1955 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Pasco, WA.

He attended Pasco schools, and as a boy he worked at the Pasco Gun Club where his family enjoyed trap shooting. He saved his money and every chance he got he would line up with the men to shoot trap. At the age of 11 he won a trophy for shooting a perfect 25. He played basketball and baseball with the Pasco Bulldogs, graduating from Pasco High School in 1973.

Dale earned an AA Degree in Engineering from Columbia Basin College.

He married his college sweetheart in 1975 and they divorced in 1978.

He worked as a laborer at FFTF Hanford and then an apprentice electrician. He was a nuclear technician at the Plutonium Laboratory at Hanford but was forced to resign due to health problems.

Dale's hobbies included trap shooting; woodworking; pheasant/duck hunting with his black Labs Mike 1 and 2; deer hunting; camping/fishing at O'Sullivan Dam and area lakes for perch, crappie, and trout; for salmon at Ilwaco, and steelhead and sturgeon in the Columbia River; waterskiing; snowmobiling at Spout Springs as a member of Tollgate Trailfinders; family poker games; going to Reno with his family; and Mariners and Seahawks games.

Dale was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Dale is survived by his parents; sister Sandra Schoenrock and husband Jack Scott of Burbank; niece Rebecca Burger, husband Greg and son Carl James of Spokane; nephew Thomas Schoenrock, wife Jessica and daughter Avery Lynn of Las Vegas, NV; aunt Clara, and cousins Kathi, Doug, Cheryl and Dennis.

"God looked around His garden and saw an empty space. He then looked down from Heaven and saw Dale's tired face. He put His arms around him and put him in His care. It broke our hearts to see him go, but he didn't go alone for part of us went with him the day God called him home." Your family loves you Dale more than you could ever know, and you will live in our hearts forever.

There will be a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 915 ByPass Hwy in Richland on Wednesday, March 29, at 11:00 a.m.
