He was born July 16, 1958 in Rochester to Ivan and Carol (Willing) Harmon.
He graduated from John Marshall High School and then worked at Whiting’s Flowers and then Bowman’s Lock & Key.
He was married to Gwen Borgen, May 17, 1986.
In 1994, he moved his family to Lanesboro where he started his own Locksmith business and eventually started Harmon Car pentry and Locksmith Service.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen; two sons, Blaine,Lanesboro and Lance (Izzy),Preston; daughter, Bryn, Lanesboro; grandson, Carsyn;father, Ivan Harmon,
Rochester; brother,Brian (Judy), Rochester; and many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his sister, Julie and mother, Carol.
Services will be held 5 p.m. Friday, March 31, with visitation one hour before at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro. A celebration of lifeafter the service at the Lanesboro Golf Course.
Randy was very active at the Lanesboro Golf Course and served on the Board. He was a member of the Lanesboro Gun Club and Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Randy truly enjoyed the outdoors from fishing, hunting, and golfing to taking care of his yard.
