PAPINCHAK, Leanne E., (Eplett), 56, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family, March 27, 2017 at home after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Born May 27, 1960 in Bedford. Daughter of Byron R. and Elizabeth (Hines) Eplett. Preceded in death by parents and niece, Alexa Eplett. Survived by loving husband, Ernie Papinchak and these children, Kortney (Thomas) wife of Jason Richter and Corey Thomas and fiancée Cathrin Cuthbert, both of Johnstown. Grandchildren, Skylar, Cayden, Ellie, Saphira and Laurel. Sister of; Kim wife of Tim Becker; Bryan Eplett and wife Cindy (Adams); Stephanie Reese and fiancé Paul Laskey; Lois Sievers, Sandra Miller; all of Johnstown, Carol Eplett, Florida and Bev wife of Frealen Newsome, Ohio. Also survived by her husbands' parents, A. Ernest and Barbara Papinchak, Johnstown; brothers-in-law, Dan Papinchak and wife Elaine and Tim Papinchak and wife Adina, both of Harrisburg; numerous nieces and nephews and "best buddies", Lori Paratore and Carol Hahn. 1978 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech, Cosmetology program. Former employee, Salon Vizions, Johnstown and also Precious Metals, Johnstown. Leanne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to make things beautiful. She especially enjoyed gardening and interior decorating. She will be sadly missed by all. Member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Reverend Roderick N. Soha, pastor. Interment, Church Cemetery, Windber. Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber where vigil for the deceased will be held. The family would especially like to thank the nurses and staff of the Conemaugh Hospice especially Carolyn. Donations may be made to the Conemaugh Hospice or to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
