Donna Sue James-Lester, 68, of Cyclone, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2017 at CAMC General, Charleston, WV.
She was born on September 15, 1948 in McConnell, WV a daughter of the late Jacob James (Deceased) and Macil Bailey-James (Deceased). Donna Sue was a member of the Bright Prospect Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a grandson, Lucas Lane Lusk (Deceased); and a brother, Nelson James (Deceased).
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Wilson Esau Lester (B. 1941) whom she married on June 2, 1964 in Jesse, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1964, Page 399, Application Date: June 1, 1964); a daughter, Betty Jo Lester-Lusk & Corky Lusk of Cyclone; a son, Johnny Esau Lester of Cyclone; a brother, Billy James & Patty James of Denton, NC; two grandchildren, Angel Lusk and Jacob Lusk; three step grandchildren, Zachary Osborne & Sammi Kay Osborne, Brittany Miller & Adam Miller, and Brandi Osborne; three step great grandchildren, Adalynn Miller, Lydia Miller
and Dason Griffin; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Bright Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, Cyclone, WV with Rev. Jackie Lusk, Rev. William Cook and Br. Jed Tolliver officiating. She will be laid to rest in Brown Cemetery, Cyclone, WV.
