John Marvin Henry Hayden, 35, Monterey, Tennessee, died at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, in San Jose, California. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, to John William and Mary (Flowers) Hayden. He married Laura Winters on August 22, 2004, and she survives.

John's love for laughter led him to become involved in stand-up comedy. He was always very active and enjoyed working on projects. John also loved to work in his garden and especially enjoyed growing peppers. He was an Elvis fan and was one who could never pass up a good deal when it came to shopping. John was a point of care support specialist for Roche Diagnostics and loved working for the company. Most of all, John loved being with his family, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Laura; sons, Britan Crist, Crossville, Tennessee, and John Kalon Hayden, Monterey; mother, Mary Hayden, Marion; sisters, Christina (Jared) Turner, Mariah (Malcolm Himschoot) Hayden, Evelyn (John) Ramey, Patricia Hayden, and Jessica Hayden; brothers, Eddie Bosworth, Pat Hayden, and John W. Hayden, II; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

His father preceded him in death.

Services for John are at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the funeral home with Rev. Malcolm Himschoot officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
