Ruby Lenora Phillips, age 72, of Crestview, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born on September 27, 1944 in Victorville, California, to the late, Leon Caver Jr and Dora Elizabeth (Leeder) Caver.
Ruby was a very giving person. She loved to cook, collecting recipes from everyone and everywhere, the color red, and everything about Elvis Pressley. She enjoyed flowers, cake decorating and will be remembered for her warm, contagious smile and heart that touched the lives of so many people over the years.
Ruby is survived by her children, Ronnie Phillips, Diana DuRall, and Shirley Braziel; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Michael) Whitley; brother, William "Billy" Caver; She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmy Phillips; brothers, Leon "Sonny" Caver III and Larry Caver.
Funeral services will be held at Destin Assembly of God Church, 726 Legion Dr, Destin, FL 32541 on, April 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Destin Memorial Cemetery, Destin, Florida.
