Funeral services for Mr. John Yves Fontenot will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie with Reverend Wayne Holston officiating.
Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie.
Mr. Fontenot, 67, of Saint Landry, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Mercy Regional Hospital, Ville Platte, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Emma Fontenot and one sister, Hazel Manuel.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of forty-one years, Marie Fontenot, of Saint Landry; two daughters, Ivy Johnson and her husband Vince, of Lone Pine and Christine Fontenot, of Turkey Creek; one sister, Rose Deshotel and her husband, Roderick, of Pine Prairie and seven grandchildren, Dylan, Joshua, Zachary, Whyatte, Arieall, Bronson and Marcus.
