Delores Bishop Morris, 88, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired clerk for the Tax Collector and Accessors offices for Berkeley County Government, died Monday morning in a local nursing home.
Her funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon, March 30, 2017, in the Providence Baptist Church, Macedonia. Interment will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethera. The family will receive friends at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening.
Mrs. Morris was born January 28, 1929, in Moncks Corner, SC, a daughter of Walter Bishop and Daisy Bell Morris Bishop. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and she enjoyed cooking for her family. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by a son, Woodrow Wilson Morris, Jr.
Surviving are a son, Michael Morris of Moncks Corner; a sister, Betty McCaskill of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Megan J. Wright and her husband, Duffy, of Macedonia, Marlena Thomas of Ridgeland, and Justin M Morris and his wife, Jennifer, of Hanahan; and six great grandchildren, Jacob Carr, Luke Carr, Lauren Wright, Alexis Wright, Logan Thomas, and Nathan Morris.
