She was born June 9, 1949 at Emmetsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Steve Junge and Hazel (John) Meyers. Diane had a great love for flowers, gardening and birds.
Diane is survived by one son, John (Jessica) Sanders of Waterloo and one daughter, Tonya Bodecker of Nashua; nine grandchildren, Beau (Courtney) Martin, Ben (Tricia) Martin, Brennen Martin, Braydan Martin, Sofia Sanders, Tyler Sanders, Brody Sanders, Nick Gray, and Olivia Gray; two great grandchildren; one brother, Gary (Sue) Reeves of Stuartville, MN, and one sister, Trina Hilbert of Middleburg, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Brody Sanders and a special friend, Russ Bodecker.
Celebration of Life service will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Evansdale AMVETS Post # 31.
Memories may be placed in memory jars, Friday at the Evansdale AMVETS.
