John "J.D." D. Dodd, Sr., age 62, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
J.D. retired from Prairie Material Services in Romeoville last year after 21 years of service. His passion in life was his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR and singing karaoke.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nanette J. Dodd (nee Munchalfen); two daughters, April (Richard) Cole-Keck and Amber Kleinfieldt; two sons, John D. Dodd, Jr. and Garret G. Dodd; Nine grandchildren; his mother, M. Charlene Dodd; a brother, Gary Dodd and two sisters, Donna (Bob) Vincent and Pam Dodd. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
John was preceded in death by his father, John A. Dodd and his brother, Paul Dodd.
