Carl W. Kiefer, 58, and Army veteran of World War II, died yesterday in his home at 6325 North Parker Avenue.
A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, he was a graduate of Cathedral High School. He worked 13 years for United States Rubber Company and then served 20 years as a route manager for Roberts Dairy until retiring in 1968.
He was a staff sergeant during the war and served three years overseas. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and Robert Linehan Post of the American Legion.
Services will be held in Feeney-Kirby Mortuary and in the church, with burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Delores H. Kiefer, and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Combs, Mrs. Marie Widner, and Mrs. Audrey Brandmaier, all of Indianapolis.
