He is survived by his wife, Emma Zufelt Shangle; a daughter, Miss Helen Jo Shangle, Schenectady; a son, Robert S. Shangle, Fayetteville; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Alida Hotchkiss, Litchfield Park, Ariz. and Mrs. Flora Huttar, Syracuse; a brother, Kermit Shangle, Rochelle, Ill.
Funeral services will be held in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ithaca. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held in the Wagner Funeral Home.
