Cobb attended Camdenton High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1959 and was a dedicated member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit. Cobb retired from Overnite Transportation Company after thirty-three years of service. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and rode all over the United States and eight of the Canadian Provinces. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Assoc. (GWRRA), loved photography, truck driving rodeos and especially his grandchildren and watching them play their various sports.
Along with his wife Libby, he is survived by his children: Ralph "Chip" Webb (Stephanie), Steven Webb (Debra), and Marc Webb (Becky) all of Jefferson City, twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents and step-father, he was preceded in death by his sister Betty Hanks.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Union Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29 at Union Hill Baptist Church with Brother Frank Whitney and Brother LP Cook officiating. Full Military Honors will follow. Entombment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Union Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
