Ludolph, Ruth Margaret
August 3, 1924 – March 5, 2011
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at The Westmount Long Term Care Residence at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late Paul Ludolph (1977).
Loving mother of Katharine Borch (Rev. Hans) of Kitchener, Rev. Fred Ludolph (Debbie Lou) of Eden Mills, Christine Kresky (Mark) of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Anna Winter (Kevin), Matthew Borch (Natalie), David Borch (Katelyn), Rebekah Ludolph, Paul Ludolph, Meghan Kresky, Melissa Kresky. Great-grandmother to Corson Winter and Pyper Winter.
Dear sister-in-law and friend of Dorothy Ludolph and Martha Wagner.
Predeceased by three brothers Erhardt, Stanley and Clayton Wagner and three sisters-in-law Doris Wagner, Mae Wagner and Meta Ludolph and brother-in-law Arnold Ludolph .
Margaret retired from the plant hospital at the Strange Street Uniroyal Plant in 1989.
A long time member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Margaret took great pleasure in participating in many activities including Women’s groups and the quilting circle for many years. She was also a member of the Waterloo Lutheran Seminary Women’s Auxiliary and a long time volunteer at K-W Hospital. She took great delight in making quilts and various other things for her grandchildren.
Margaret’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467and will continue on Tuesday from 10-10:45 at the church. Funeral service 11 am Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 49 Queen St., Kitchener followed by a reception.
Pastor Mark Ehlebracht officiating.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Alzheimer Society of K-W, Waterloo Lutheran Seminary or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
