Mrs. Ira Marie Shepherd died March 19 1977 at Carthage General Hospital, Carthage Tenn. Survived by Husband Jessie T. Shepherd, one daughter, Mrs. John Garrett, Antioch, Sons, Thomas D Shepherd, Nashville, Nicky Shepherd, Carthage, two brothers, Everett Smith, Nashville, and Buford Smith, Fla., four sisters, Mrs. Christine Foster, Hermitage, Mrs. Cleo Manning, Hermitage, Mrs. Ruby Smith, Nashville, Mrs. Linda(Edna) Shelton, Nashville, seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Remains are at the Ellis Funeral Home, 2627 Nolensville Road, where funeral services will be conducted 10:30 A.M. Tuesday by Bro. O'Neal Huffine. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment Woodlawn. Ellis Funeral Home Directors.
