GRAND RAPIDS - Terry passed away March 13 at Laurels of Kent in Lowell, MI. Terry was born Jan. 6, 1955, to Carl Patterson, Sr., and Maryellen (Nick) Patterson, who preceded him in death. Terry was the fourth child out of five born to Carl and Maryellen. Terry is survived by his siblings, Carl (Anita) Patterson of North Liberty, IN, Jeff Patterson of South Bend, IN, Roger Patterson of North Liberty, and sister, Jacqueline Homman of South Bend. His two daughters, Annmarie and Amelia, and several nieces and nephews. Terry grew up in South Bend and attended South Bend schools. When he got older he moved to Grand Rapids, MI, where he lived for many years until his death. Terry enjoyed watching Westerns, being outside, his favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts, and his two cats, until he could no longer take care of them, as he had to move to a rehabilitation and nursing home. Cremation services are entrusted to Memorial Alternative in Grand Rapids, MI. Terry's final resting place will be at Sumption Prairie Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Laurels of Kent in Lowell, MI, and his friend and guardian, Bill Leeder.
