Lee D. McEwen, age 80, of Hesperia, went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2015. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Lee was married to his wife Shirley for 62 years. Lee is also survived by 3 children, Debbie Jensen (Ronnie) of Las Vegas, NV, Donna McEwen (Paul) of Hesperia and Jerry McEwen (Karen) of Apple Valley; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 1/2 great-great grandchildren. Lee also leaves behind one sister, Janice Parent of Mentone and many other family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Lee resided in the High Desert for 46 years. He owned a local mobile home business for several years and retired from Dalton Trucking in 2001. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. on June 23, 2015 at Desert View Memorial Park, 11478 Amargosa Rd., Victorville; service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Roger Umholtz will be officiating the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lee's name to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Hospice Agency, 17284 Slover Avenue, Ste. 105, Fontana, CA 92337. .
