Nellie Robinson, Hastings, Florida was born Dec. 25, 1941, and departed this life on March 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada B. and Thomas Jones Sr., her husband, Lawrence Robinson, sisters, Mercedes Bryant and Irene Stephens.
She leaves to cherish in her memory, son, Dexter Johns (Darlene) Port St. Lucie; daughters, Harriet Thomas (David Jr.) St. Augustine, and Tracery Cameron (Robert) LaGrange, Georgia; sister, Helen King; brother, Thomas Jones Jr. (Earline); grandchildren, Jerome, Dionte', Joseph, David III, Dravion Johns, Maya, Dorian Jones, Miles, Tyra, Monica and Ceaira; great-granddaughter, Karter Marie; like a daughter, Tina Hicks; goddaughters, Pauline Deshommes, Felicia Summerall and Jessica Mansel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services at noon Saturday at Gethsemane MBC with Pastor Rick Torrence officiating. Dexter Johns is eulogist. Viewing is 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Gethsemane and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Coleman's Mortuary. Burial is at Craig Memorial Park, St. Augustine.
