Mary Ann Fincher-Gunn, 88 years old, a longtime resident of Mitchell County passed away on January 9, 2021 after a short battle with Covid pneumonia. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Colorado City Cemetery.

She was born March 16, 1932 to Peter G. and Minna Harms in Ryegate, Montana. Mary Ann married Nolan "Pedro" Fincher on February 14, 1956, and later had two sons, Pete and Brad Fincher.

Mary Ann is survived by two sons, Pete Fincher and wife Karen and Brad Fincher and wife Deb, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who provided many hours of enjoyment. MaryAnn is also survived by a very special friend and companion, Raymond Phillips.

In 1979, Mary Ann was preceded in death by Nolan "Pedro" Fincher. Also preceding her in death were her parents, along with eight siblings, Charlie, Arthur, Peter C., Jurgen, Isabel, Margaret, Gert and Minnie. In 1981, Mary Ann met and married James A. Gunn of Big Spring, Texas. He also preceded her in death January 15, 2009.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either West Texas Rehab of Abilene or the Sherwood & Myrtie Foster Home for children located in Stephenville, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
