Virginia Piatkowski, age 89, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 26, 1927 in Waco, Texas. Mrs. Piatkowski was employed for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Kingsville, until her retirement. She was a member of Kingsville Elks Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Piatkowski.

Virginia is survived by three sons, Mike Stimpson (Pam) of Houston, Texas, Steve Piatkowski of Kingsville and Mark Piatkowski (Cari) of Billings, Montana; three daughters, Polly Wenglar (Darrell) of Sugar Land, Texas, Pam Johnson (Brad) of San Antonio, Texas and Patricia Wicke (Steve) of Columbus, Texas; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Public visitation will be from 12:00 noon, December 3, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Vallilea Blair officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elks National Foundation, 2750 North Lakeview Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60614-2256 in her name or to a charity of one's choice .

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
