Greg was an entrepeneur, starting his first business when he was nine years old. His parents allowed him to stock and reap the profits from the coin operated coke machine at the Oceanfront SanSalvadore Motel they owned. He also grew tomatoes, selling them to his parents and the guests. The surfboards were always lined up at the Oceanfront Motel, where Greg, Rodney and all their friends spent many happy childhood days surfing. In his teens, Greg started a business on A1A, making and selling leather goods. Greg was Co-Owner of the Pub Bar with his brother, Rodney. After selling the Pub, He owned and operated Golf Cart and Hot Dog Concession stands on the beach. He owned and operated Laniki Frozen Drinks after opening Sampson and Delilah Tanning Salon on A1A. As Greg got older, He loved fishing, boating, his aquariums, and his guitar, playing music and jamming with his friends. Anytime Greg was around, there was always lots of laughing and fun. He will always be remembered for his great passion for life, for his huge and caring heart and the undying love and devotion he had for his children, family and friends. It has been said by many that Greg had a way of making everybody feel that they were the most important person in his life. Survivors include his son, Colby and daughter, Carly; his nephew, Kevin Caldwell and niece, Angela Miller; his parents, Jerry and Peggy. He was predeceased last year by his kind and quick witted brother, Rodney, who also brought lots of fun and laughs to everybody.
