YORK Rena M. (Swan) Loucks, 67, died on her birthday, Friday, March 4, 2005, at 10:49 a.m. at the York Hospital.

She was the wife of Donald E. Loucks with whom she celebrated a 47th wedding anniversary on January 19th.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 700 E. Market St., York, with Pastor Charlene Leigh-Koser officiating. Viewing will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Everhart-Jackson-Heffner Funeral Home, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Loucks was born March 4, 1938, in York. She was the daughter of the late Estella H. (Markey) and Jerry M. Swan.

She was a lifetime member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, a member of the Red Hat Society Duchess of York, and a Model of Hope for the York Cancer Society.

Mrs. Loucks also leaves three daughters, Debra E. Helwig and husband, Jeffrey of Dover, Julie A. Evans and husband, James of Dover, and Karen S. Mosebrook and husband, Donald of Coopersburg; and four grandchildren, Matthew and Michele Helwig, and Jacob and Isaac Mosebrook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 700 E. Market St., York, PA 17403.
