Charlie Buford Schmidt, Jr. passed away on March 23, 2017. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Charlene Marie Schmidt; and his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Lewis Schmidt and Linda Faye Schmidt. Mr. Schmidt is survived by his wife of 74 1/2 years, Marie Alma Wiese Schmidt; daughter Joy Walker and husband, John; son, Roger Schmidt and wife Kathy; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and counting; and 9 great great grandchildren and counting.
