Collin Brown Jr., a son of the late Fannie and Collin Brown ws born on November 16, 1950 in Halifax County, NC.

He attended John Armstrong Chaloner and he graduated from William R. Davie. Upon graduation he joined the U.S. Navy. Upon his completion of his tour he continued his education at Halifax Community College. He then went on to join the Roanoke Rapids Police Department. He also worked at Pine State Creamery, Coleman Funeral Home and retired from Rightmyers Machinery.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Elmo Brown and Bruce Baker and a sister Lillian Daniels.

Treasured memories of his life will remain with his wife: Gloria Brown of the home; his children: Gloria D. Brown, Candace Brown, Tifani Brown, Collin Brown III, Crystall Brown, Christopher Brown, Shelia McNain, Patrice Alston, Darry McNair (Margo), and Randall McNair. He has twelve Grandchildren and one Great-Granddaughter; Three Sisters: Virginia Martin (Matthew) of Jacksonville, NC, Katie Trice (Joseph)of Weldon, NC and Connie Richardson of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Three Brothers: James Baker, Larry Brown both of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Almo Brown of Brooklyn, NYl Sis Sisters-In-Law and Six Brothers-In-Law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held Twilight Missionary Baptist Church, Weldon, NC with Pastor-Rev. Danny Jones, Sr. Officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Littleton, NC.
