Mary J. (Leitzel) Straub, 90, died Thursday, March 23rd at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
She was born on July 18, 1926 in Gratz the daughter of the late Lawrence Leitzel and Alma (Moyer) Davis. She was the widow of Nelson T. Straub.
She was a member of Trinity U.M. Church, Elizabethville where she was involved with the Women's Group. She was a member of the Senior Citizens. Mary was employed with Playtimers, Elizabethville and other various shoe companies in the area.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara J. Novinger of Falling Waters, WV, grandsons Jarrett and his wife Kassey, Wesley, Eric, Evan, granddaughter Heidi, and great grandchildren Conner, Eric, Austin, Robert, DJ, Allen, and Christopher.
She is also survived by a brother James and his wife Mary Ann Leitzel, a great nephew Matthew Hoover and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Ernest Straub.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am on Thursday, March 30th at Trintiy U.M. Church, Elizabethville, with a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
