Kindwall, one of the earliest settlers In this community died at her home in Alta last Tuesday and the funeral was held from her late home on Saturday. Mrs. Kindwall was 89 years, 6 months and 20 days of age at the time of her death and she had lived in this community for over 50 years.
She is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters, Mrs. C.A. Beck and Miss Amanda Kindwall of Alta, and Abel, Albin and Elmer of Alta and Frank who lives to Seattle. Mrs. Kindwall's husband was one of the early ministers of the gospel in this community, and her home was a religious center among the Scandinavian people of the community.
