Lauren L. Taylor, age 30, a resident of West Chicago, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was born October 26, 1986 in Hinsdale to Larry and Karen Taylor.
Lauren grew up in Wheaton and graduated from Wheaton Academy in 2005.
She was a talented artist who had a creative soul. She enjoyed drawing, knitting and cooking. Lauren had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to share laughter with others. She was an outstanding softball player and was a pitcher for many seasons from grade school to high school. She was an animal lover and dearly loved her dog, Sugar. She had many friends and was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Karen Taylor of West Chicago, sister Lindsey Taylor of Naperville, brother, Ryan Taylor of Carol Stream, grandfather, Robert Rudolph, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Helen Taylor of IN and maternal grandmother, Phyllis Rudolph of Wheaton.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Wheaton, 1310 N. Main St., Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 10 a.m. Private interment will be held at Wheaton Cemetery.
