Wesley Edward Cooper loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather; age 64, of Jefferson City, went to be with his Lord Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was a faithful and loyal servant of his Lord in many capacities most recently at New Market Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pastor Carl and Nelma Cooper; and sister-in-law, Sandie Cooper.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Deb Cooper; sons, Bryan (Mandi) Cooper and Bradley (Laura) Cooper; grandchildren, Brenden Tyler, Madyson Paige and Bryson Wesley Cooper; sister, Julie (Dale) McCoy; brothers, Danny Cooper and Keith (Sandra) Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. He was a long time, valued employee of Cherokee Health Systems and accomplished carpenter.
The family will receive friends Friday March 24, 2017 from 5-7pm prior to the service at New Market Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm at the church with Dr. J.W. Taylor and Rev. Bob Emmett officiating. Burial will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Westview Cemetery.
