Evans, Earl William, age 82, of Madisonville, passed away 11:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Life Care Center of Morgan County. Member of Glory Bound Church, Madisonville. Helped build and had attended Norwood Hill House of Prayer. He was a very determined man that believed in doing things the right way. Never believed in stealing, stood tall with integrity. Never met a stranger and sometimes took them in to his home, he helped those in his neighborhood and grew extra in the garden for those neighbors. Loved to fish and an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.

Survivors, wife of 58 years, Jane Webb Evans, Daughter & son-in-law, Barbara & David Satterfield, Oakdale, Grandchildren & spouse, Adam & Leslie Caldwell, Shanda McCauley, Great-grandchildren, Kanyon, Ava, Blake and Colton, Sisters, Lorene Williams, Athens, Betty Hadley, Royal Oak, Michigan, Bonnie McDowell, Sweetwater, Brothers, Murl Evans, Lancing, Michigan, Ray Evans, Norman Evans, Lester Evans, all of Tellico Plains, Glen Evans, Rockwood, Several nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Wiley & Stella Lewis Evans, sister, Elsie Miller.

Funeral 3 P.M. Saturday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Don Harris & Rev. Darryl Veal officiating. Interment Norwood Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
