BIOGRAPHY- Martha Ma Lucas was born on July 11, 1930 in Boggy, OK to Cub B. Maynard and Mae B. Woodall Maynard. She married Dennis Brundige in 1946 and moved in Memphis from Detroit, TX in 1956. After Dennis passed she married Bill Lucas in 1970. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Memphis. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and collecting dolls. She never met a person she didn't love.
PRECEDED – Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Dennis Brundige and her second husband Bill Lucas; 1 son John David Brundige; 4 brothers; 6 sisters; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great –grandchild.
SURVIVED – Martha is survived by 3 sons Dennis "Dobber" Brundige and wife Jo of Ranger, Wilie Cub Brundige and wife Sara of Georgetown, and Luther Lucas of Powderly; 3 daughters Sue Watson and husband Sammy of Memphis, Carol Tarrant and husband David of Memphis, Doris Barnhill and husband John of Blossom, and daughter-in-law Brenda Lucas; 2 brothers W.C. Maynard and wife of Oregon and Cub Maynard Jr. and wife of Detroit, TX; 2 sisters Faye McMillien and husband of Amarillo and Jimmie Boss and husband of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be sent to the First Assembly of God in Memphis.
