Mrs. Ruby Jean Dunn, age 87 of Robinson, IL, died Tuesday March 21, 2017 at 5:28 p.m. at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Robinson, IL, following many months of failing health.
Born June 21, 1929 in Robinson, IL, she was the daughter of Arthur Esco and Hazel L. (Christenson) Slawson. On September 16, 1953, she married Donald E. Dunn, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1973.
Mrs. Dunn was most recently employed at Robinson Hospital for Animals, Robinson, IL and formerly was an Operator for General Telephone Company. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Robinson, IL.
Survivors include a son and fiancée, Chris Dunn and Susan Norton, Robinson, IL; a daughter, Karen Lynn Dunn, Harvey, LA; a son-in-law, Bruce Green, Houston, TX and a grandson, Stephen Caleb Beatty, Vincennes, IN.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Donald E. Dunn and a daughter Linda L. Green on April 28, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Rev. T.R. Akers officiating. Cremation to follow. There will be a time of visitation on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.
