MRS. C. McDERMOTT

Mrs. Caroline Steele McDermott, who resided with the Misses Eva and Ida Holiday at 845 Jackson St., Oshkosh, died today at Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh, at the age of 97.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Steele was born Dec.22, 1868, in Eldorado. She was married to George L. McDermott March 6, 1909, and had resided in Eldorado and Rhinelander, moving to Oshkosh in 1964. Mrs. Mc Dermott was a member of the Rhinelander Congregational Church at Rhinelander. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1954. Survivors include the Misses Holliday and other cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the North Eldorado Congregational Church, Rev. Gerald Schrankler officiating. Burial will be in the North Eldorado Cemetery. The Seefeld Funeral Home, Oshkosh, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation and the casket will remain closed.
