Mrs. Nina Faye Eller Greene, 87, of Purlear, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
Nina was born on Sunday, January 12, 1930 to the late Guy Garfield Eller and Polly Poe Eller in Montcalm, West Virginia.
Nina was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and baking.
In addition to her parents, Nina is preceded in death by: her husband, Roland Greene; a brother, Ed Eller and a sister, Eula Handy.
Nina is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Sheets (Ronnie) of Wilkesboro, Patricia Wagoner (Keith) of Purlear; sister, Mary Ashley (Johnny) of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Josh Sheets (Angie), Jennifer Dillard (Sammy), Daniel Wagoner (Cindy), Kelly Feltner (Josh); great-grandchildren, Trent Dillard, Sydney Sheets, Alexis Feltner, Chloe Dillard and Devan Feltner.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Wilkesboro. Reverend Jamie McGuire and Reverend Gary Benesh will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at Calvary Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
