Dylan Price Brooks, 19 of Charlotte went to be with the Lord March 22, 2017. He was born on December 21, 1997 in Mecklenburg County to Gary and Kathy Brooks. He was a member of First Baptist Church-Huntersville, a 2016 graduate of North Meck High School and a freshman at NC State University. Dylan lived life to its fullest, with an inquisitive mind and humorous spirit. An avid athlete, he enjoyed disc golf, soccer and especially rugby.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers Austin and Logan; grandparents, Dorothy Brown, Doc Brown and Nancy Skinner; and a number of dear friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Neal Brooks, Jr., Opalee Brooks and Don Skinner. The mark he left on our lives will always be remembered.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Missions Fund, 119 N Old Statesville Rd. Huntersville, NC 28078.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday, March 25 at James Funeral Home. A celebration of Dylan’s life will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 26 at First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
