Miss. Krista Leanne Newton, age 24, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 after an automobile accident.
Miss. Newton was born September 10, 1992 in Dalton Georgia.
She was Secretary and member of the First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Hannah Newton and Hope Newton, brothers, Sam Newton, Isaac Newton and Elijah Newton
Survivors include her parents, Steve and Linda Newton of Hazlehurst; sisters, Kayla Chesnut and Keren Newton; brothers, Josh Chesnut, Matthew Newton and Micah Newton.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Newton, Mr. Eric King, Rev. Dahl McDermitt and Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
