She was born to David and Delpha Paine in Plainview, Ore., on June 29, 1918. She moved to Sheridan, Ore., in 1922 and spent all of her school years there.
June loved life in itself. She enjoyed rock hounding, ceramics, painting, gardening, square dancing, traveling, cooking and baking. She was a woman with many talents.
She was preceded in death by her only child, Karla Dent. She is survived by her three grandkids, David Vinson and spouse Kim Vinson of Klamath Falls, Ore., Shannon Mijo and spouse Tony Mijo of Oregon City, Ore., and Kelli Dent and spouse Joe Anschutz of Aloha, Ore.; eight great-grandkids; and three great-great-grandkids.
She faced life armed with common sense, courage, laughter and wit. She will be greatly missed.
