She lived in Auburn with her family. She leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years, David C. Smith and 4 daughters, Jennifer Lynn, Charlene Kay, Marianne Louise and Beverlee Lucille. She has 3 grandsons & 2 granddaughter's. She has a brother, sister, many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces & grandnephews.

Lynette attained an AA in Psychology and was a Nursing Assistant and provided care for those who needed it through the Dept. of Social and Health Services.

Lynette was a member of the Assembly Church of God in Auburn, where she loved to sing.
