Corinne UT – Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother LaRaine Jeppesen passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family.
LaRaine was born September 7, 1933 to Everett Carl Anderson and Margaret Hatch Anderson and was the oldest of five children. She grew up working on her father's farm and helping with farm chores. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1951. She married her high school sweetheart, Claude Marvin Jeppesen on June 2, 1952 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. LaRaine enjoyed all kinds of craft projects which she freely shared with many others. She loved farming and could often be found in the fields helping Claude with the harvests.
LaRaine was an active member of the Corinne First ward where she served in many positions, including Relief Society, Primary, Cub Scouts and Name Extraction. LaRaine and Claude served two summers together at the Martin's Cove Pioneer Handcart Visitor Center.
LaRaine and Claude are the parents of five children: Chris Jeppesen, San Antonio, TX; Barbara Aldridge (Bruce - deceased), Corinne, UT; Rod (Chris) Jeppesen, Corinne, UT; Nancy (Greg) Wolfley, Bluffdale, UT; Mike (Lorie) Jeppesen, Brigham City, UT. They have 18 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Myers Mortuary 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 25 with a viewing from 12:00 – 12:40 p.m. and the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Corinne Chapel, 2325 N. 4000 W., Corinne, UT. Compassionate service being provided by the Corinne 1st Ward Relief Society. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
